Parent View

Calling all Parents/Carers. If you have an experience of Skilts School, good or bad please feel free to leave your comments on the Parent View section of the Ofsted website. By sharing your views, you’ll be helping Skilts to improve. You will also be able to see what other parents have said about Skilts. Or, if you want to, view the results for any school in England.

Parent View gives YOU the chance to tell us what you think about Skilts by completing a short questionnaire.

The questionnaire asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. If your child is at a boarding or a residential special school, it also asks for your opinion on five aspects of your child’s boarding or welfare. Ofsted then uses the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when.

Views are given in the form of a short questionnaire containing 12 questions to answer for example ‘My child is happy at this school’ with a choices of responses:

  • Strongly agree

  • Disagree
  • Strongly disagree
